Session Expired – How the QR Code Session Works

When you scan a GETQCALL QR code or tap an NFC tag, a virtual session is automatically created for your device.

How It Works

  1. Scan the QR Code or Tap the NFC Tag
Scan the QR code with your phone's camera or tap the NFC tag to open the GETQCALL page.
  2. Your 40-Minute Session Starts
Once the page opens, a virtual session is created. This session remains active for 40 minutes.
  3. Use the Available Services
During the active session, you can access and use the services and buttons available on the QR code page.
  4. Session Expires After 40 Minutes
After 40 minutes, the virtual session automatically expires. If you refresh or try to use the page after the session has expired, you will see the “Session Expired” message.
  5. Start a New Session
To use the service again, simply scan the QR code again or tap the NFC tag again. A new 40-minute session will be created automatically.

Why Do We Use Sessions?

The 40-minute session helps ensure that GETQCALL services are accessed from the intended QR code or NFC tag and prevents an old page from being reused indefinitely.

Seeing “Session Expired” does not mean there is a problem with the QR code. Simply scan the QR code or tap the NFC tag again to continue.
